Get to know me
I’m a change junkie, career-switcher and passionate entrepreneur.
I am grateful to be doing what I love and helping others do the same.
I’m quirky and I laugh a lot. I bring my sense of humor to everything I do.
I am spiritual, intuitive and empathic.
I’m an avid traveler. The photos on this website were taken on my adventures.
I am passionate about working with other career switchers because I don’t believe it has to be as difficult as it was for me. As a change junkie, I know how to help my clients navigate the process. Now that I’m an entrepreneur, I also feel called to work with other entrepreneurs who are out there doing their thing and sharing their talents with the world. My ultimate vision is a world where everyone is doing work they love, being their most authentic selves, and serving the world in their own unique way.
I have spent most of my life studying, implementing and experiencing change. While change is an inevitable part of life, you could say that I’ve gone looking for it more often than most. I’ve created countless major changes in my life. Most of these changes were done on my own and despite of others’ advice to the contrary. I’ve moved around a lot — not for a job — but because I wanted to. I’ve completed 3 cross-country moves. I’ve quit several jobs without having the next one in place. I’ve traveled around the world by myself, more than once, to countries where I don’t speak the language. I’ve had lots of relationships, lots of jobs and I’m on my 3rd career in 20 years.
When I make these big decisions, it’s because my intuition pulls me so strongly in a direction that I cannot help but go there. Even when it’s scary, even if I don’t know how to logistically make it happen, or how I will be affected financially, I can’t not do it.
Change can be scary. It can also be exhilarating.
Of course, I’ve also encountered changes in my life that I didn’t plan on — gut-wrenching ones. I’m intimately familiar with the messy, confusing phase of transition when you don’t know which way is up. I also know how it feels to be in flow, driven by the wise voice inside you luring you towards the next step. I love hypnotherapy because it helps me to access that voice and find clarity, new awareness and healing. And I love supporting others in their transitions, whether it’s a career change, a new awareness or a life-changing transformation.
In my previous career, I was a change expert. My role was to help organizations and teams to transform and navigate change. I thrived in graduate school, studying how individuals, teams and organizations respond to and manage change. For the majority of my career I was intellectually stimulated and worked with smart, engaging people.
But something was missing — meaning. I could not extract enough meaning in the work I was doing to feel fulfilled. I also found myself overworked, consistently anxious and highly sensitive to toxic office politics. A corporate environment wasn’t a good fit for me and I didn’t feel like I could be fully myself at work. I burned out more times than I can count. After my 2nd sabbatical, I decided to make a career change. But I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do.
Over four years I worked really hard to figure it out. I did research, took career tests, took classes, interviewed people - all the “right” things. Still, no dice. Eventually I worked with a coach who got me out of my head. And one night, in that space between awake and asleep (a hypnotic state!), I had one of the clearest thoughts I’ve ever had: “research hypnotherapy schools”. I reached for my laptop in the dark, found a school and began the program a few weeks later.
I was introduced to past life regression therapy long before I considered it as a profession. When I was in the midst of the darkest period of my life, my therapist recommended a book by Dr. Brian Weiss. It changed everything about the way I view life, death and why we are here. My own past life regressions have been some of the most powerful and meaningful experiences of my life. I’ve learned more in one session than I could’ve learned in years of therapy. I am grateful and honored to guide others through the process. This is work that I truly love. And I learn something for myself in each client’s session.
